The goal of the Green Living Project™ is to educate and inspire citizens to live more sustainable lives through the presentation of successful examples of sustainable or 'green living' projects from around the world. In 2008, Green Living Project™ launches this exciting and ambitious project in Africa. The media team will visit a diverse selection of projects embracing different aspects of sustainability including; responsible tourism, renewable energy, organic farming, community education; and then launch an entertaining, educational, and inspiring multi-media Lecture Series across the US and parts of Canada.

The Continental Divide Trail Alliance (CDTA) was formed in 1995 to assist the federal land management agencies in the completion, management and protection of the Trail.

Washington Trails Association is the voice for hikers in Washington state. They believe hiking trails are our link to wilderness sand work to protect hiking trails and wild lands, take volunteers out to maintain trails, and promote hiking as a healthy, fun way to explore the outdoors.

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy is a volunteer-based, private nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of the 2,175-mile Appalachian National Scenic Trail, a 250,000-acre greenway extending from Maine to Georgia. Their mission is to ensure that future generations will enjoy the clean air and water, scenic vistas, wildlife and opportunities for simple recreation and renewal along the entire Trail corridor.

The mission of the Pacific Crest Trail Association is to protect, preserve and promote the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail as an internationally significant resource for the enjoyment of hikers and equestrians, and for the value that wild and scenic lands provide to all people.

Outdoor Outreach is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide an opportunity for at-risk and underprivileged youth to gain confidence and self-esteem through participation in outdoor activities. Outdoor Outreach programs support underserved youth in San Diego County who are at risk for school dropout, substance abuse, violence and unintended pregnancy. We are the only agency in San Diego and one of just a few in the country that utilizes outdoor physical experiences to provide youth with the support, relationships, resources and opportunities they need to become successful adults.

Since 1991, the Access Fund has been the only national advocacy organization that keeps climbing areas open and conserves the climbing environment. The Access Fund supports and represents over 1.6 million climbers nationwide in ALL forms of climbing; Rock Climbing, Ice Climbing, Mountaineering, and Bouldering. Five core programs support the mission on national and local levels: public policy, stewardship & conservation (including grants), grassroots activism, climber education, and land acquisition.

The mission of the Conservation Alliance is education, research, and advocacy for the preservation and restoration of endangered and threatened ecosystems and species.

California Wilderness Coalition works to defend the pristine landscapes that make California unique, provide a home to our wildlife, and preserve a place for spiritual renewal. We protect wilderness for its own sake, for ourselves, and for generations yet to come. We identify and protect the habitat necessary for the long-term survival of California's plants and animals. And through our hard-hitting advocacy and public education, we enlist the support of citizens and policy-makers in our efforts to protect California's wildlands.

Climbing for Kids is a fundraising event that supports Bay Area Wilderness Training (BAWT), a non-profit organization that gets at-risk and underprivileged youth outdoors. For every $1,000 raised, an average of 17 kids will get outside on trips with experienced adults using the best gear in the outdoor industry.

The AMGA is the national training organization for rock, alpine and ski mountaineering guides. Their primary goal is to raise the technical and professional standards of mountain guiding in the United States to a worldwide level. They promote high levels of safety, knowledge, skill, and professionalism and teach the skills required for guiding through training courses and practical exams.
